Sample Fall Itinerary: Moose, Caribou or Bear:

DAY 1: Arrive in Nome, Alaska. You will be met at the airport by a staff member who will take you to the local shooting range to sight in your rifle or bow. From there you will be transported to a remote cabin or spike camp by bush plane. If you are hunting bears you can start hunting right away as our bear area starts on the way to the cabin. Locally sourced, homemade meals will be heated and served for dinner by staff.

DAY 2 – 6: A light breakfast and coffee will be provided in the mornings. At first daylight guides will accompany you from camp to begin hunting. Lunch/ snacks will be eaten in the field. At sunset, you will be taken back to camp for dinner. Hunting will continue each day until your animal is down and packed to camp to be transported to Nome for cold storage. At this point, additional animals such as wolves, bear, or caribou can be added to your hunt for an additional fee.

DAY 7: After breakfast, last morning hunt and preparation of your meat and cape for transportation by bush plane back to Nome with all gear and trophy.

Trophy / Meat Policy

We will package up your taxidermy prepped hides and skulls for you to take on your commercial airline flight or we can ship everything for $0.45 a pound through Northern Air Cargo to Anchorage where cold storage and game processing is available.

There is approximately 600 -800 pounds of meat on a moose.  Hunters take one or two boxes (50 -100 pounds) of moose meat home. We can help package and freeze only a small quantity of meat for clients, freezer space is limited.

Unless prior arrangements are made the remainder of the moose meat is transferred to a local Alaskan Native village and elders through a local Tribal Food Program.

We can assist with transfer of game meat to a local Tribe Food Program.

We work with Dalton Refrigeration for cold storage options and Alaska Trophy Express in Anchorage, AK for shipping all around the USA.

WE PROVIDE: All camping equipment required for the hunt. All food, water, shelter, cooking, and equipment will be included. Anything required to conduct the contracted hunt will be provided, minus personal gear and weapons of the hunter.
Please download our gear list for a complete checklist of what to pack.
